Enugu Group urges Tinubu to replace Nnaji with Onoh.
The Enugu Progressive Assembly (EPA) has lauded President Ahmed Tinubu for his prompt acceptance of the resignation of former Minister of Science Technology Chief Uche Nnaji over certificate scandal.

The Enugu Progressive Assembly (EPA) has lauded President Ahmed Tinubu for his prompt acceptance of the resignation of former Minister of Science Technology Chief Uche Nnaji over certificate scandal.
The group said the gesture showed eager the President wanted to move the country
forward allowing the government to be bogged down by extraneous and unhealthy political matters.
The group however urged the President to retain the seat in Enugu State by naming one of the state's prominent political and technocratic figures, such as Dr Josef Onoh to fill the vacant office.
The group which stated this in a press release issued today in Enugu and signed by the Chairman, Comrade Johnston Agbonnam, described Dr Onoh as a "vibrant, resourceful and knowledgeable young man" who has much to offer the country if given the opportunity.
He said Onoh not only had the pedigree to perform well in office but also commanded wide local and international exposure that Nigeria could leverage on to help uplift the county's science technology sector.
"Onoh is a man of ideas, unbridled energy and versatility. He is knowledgeable and eager to deliver". Besides he has been a loyal ally of the President and his government ", Agbonnam said.
The release praised the President for continuing to show faith in youth and merit pointing out that he had maintained a track record of appointing young, erudite and progressive men and women to man crucial government office s to help the nation.
The group further commended the former Minister for his maturity and patriotism saying his resignation was a bold and rare "act of courage and ethical rectitude ".
