Obi Urges Govt To Prioritise Military Welfare

Former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi has urged the Federal Government to prioritise the welfare of military personnel and their families as Nigeria commemorates Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
He spoke in a statement on his X  on Thursday, expressing gratitude to fallen military heroes, veterans, and active service members. He noted that their sacrifices for the country’s peace and security would never be forgotten.

His words, “Today, we honour our fallen military heroes, veterans, and active service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. 
“I urge the government to ensure access to quality healthcare and education for military families to inspire greater commitment and reinforce their dedication to building a safer Nigeria.
"Your sacrifices are deeply appreciated.”
Obi praised the bravery of active-duty personnel battling insecurity across the country." 
Reaffirming his vision for a better country, Obi said, “A New Nigeria is POssible.”
