Enugu State Now Member Of Oil Producing States, Now Among States Receiving 13 Percent Derivation
Enugu State is now among the oil producing states in the country and has started to receive its share of the 13 Percent Derivation from the Federal Revenue Derivation and Allocation Committee, FAAC.

State Commissioner for Finance, Nath Urama, spoke during an expanded meeting of All Progressives Congress, APC, Stakeholders in Igbo Eze North Local Government Area of the state on Saturday.
Urama said that the state began to receive its own share of the 13 Percent Derivation from the Federation Account since the assumption of office by the present governor, Dr Peter Mbah.
Also speaking on the occasion, the Chief Whip of the state House of Assembly, Hon Ejike Eze, said that the World Bank approved 589 kilometers for Enugu State, out of which 83 kilometers would be built in Igbo Eze North Local Government Area.
According to Ejike Eze, the first phase of the road projects would would start in June, this year.
