Engineer Mike Ezugwu Dies After A Brief Illness
A retired staff of the defunct National Electric Power Authority, NEPA, Engineer Mike Ezugwu, is dead. Ezugwu's death was announced by the family in a statement signed by Mr Felix Oguejiofor Abugu on Thursday.

Ezugwu's death was announced by the family in a statement signed by Mr Felix Oguejiofor Abugu on Thursday. The statement read, "²The death has been announced of an illustrious son of the family of Uroko Nwaezugwu Abugu of Umuaji, Umuida, Enugu-Ezike, Engr. Michael Abangwu Ezugwu, FNSE.
"He died in Abuja, the FCT, in the early hours of Monday, October 6, 2025, after a brief illness.
'He will be buried at his country home at Aguija, Umuaji, Umuida, on Friday, November 28, 2025. A more comprehensive burial arrangement will be announced later by the family.
"You have been added to this platform as a friend of the late and his family. Thank you accepting the invite.
"May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, amen.
Engineer Ezugwu, a consultant in power systems and energy management, had a notable background in the energy sector. He formerly worked as the General Manager, Network Planning and Design, at the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company.
Left to mourn him are his wife, a retired Immigration Officer, Mrs Nkechi Ezugwu, his mother and children among other brothers and sisters.
