President Tinubu Extends His Three Weeks Leave Till Tuesday
President Bola Tinubu who left Abuja on August 30, 2026, for a three -week working vacation in Europe and expected to end on September 20, has again extended the leave till Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Tinubu reportedly travelled to London before hopping to Paris, capital of France.
On September 21, the Presidency, speaking through Bayo Onanuga, said the leave had been extended by "a few days," adding that the president would return on Saturday Sept 26.
However, the leave has been extended once again and Tinubu is now expected on Tuesday, September 29 through Lagos, meaning that his 21-day leave has now become almost 30 days.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidates of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, and his counterpart in the African Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar have declared the president missing.
Atiku asked why Tinubu missed UNGA again and linked it to US issues, even as some members of the House of Representatives in the Save Democracy Group are asking the leadership of NASS to reconvene — saying Section 145 of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, requires President to transmit letter to both the Senate President and Speaker if his vacation exceeds 21 days, otherwise VP should become the acting President.
