The Department of Public Administration and Local Government at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, is to hold its 2026 Public Lecture Series, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at  Princes Alexandra Auditorium, by 10 am prompt.
The member of the House of Representatives, representing Igbo Eze North/ Udenu Federal Constituency, Enugu State, Rt Hon Dennis Agbo, will lead the discourse on "Three Years of Post-Subsidy Removal: Evaluating the Socioeconomic Effects of Nigeria’s Deregulated Downstream Sector."
Agbo, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, FCA,  is expected to prove that he is an individual who occupies far more than just political office, by showing through the lecture that he commands a deep understanding of fiscal mechanics and structural policy, a rare combination of strengths that he brings directly to the podium as a refined political leader.
The legislator approaches national economics with analytical rigor, stripping away political noise to focus on sustainable and data driven realities, which the Lecture Series tends to promote.
Agbo, a.k.a Integrity, has consistently championed legislative excellence, effective advocacy, and people oriented governance.
His presence at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium, PAA, represents a vital bridge connecting academic research in public administration with the hard realities of legislative policymaking, as his lecture promises visionary insights, sharp critique, and constructive pathways forward for Nigeria's economy with his voice remaining a steadfast beacon for progressive leadership, intellectual honesty, and dedicated public service.
