2027: Catholic Bishop Warns Evil Politicians Plotting To Impose Corrupt Thief As President Using INEC As Pontus Pilate

Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, His Grace, Most Rev Godfrey Igwebuike Onah, has urged Christians and persons of goodwill to reject the current moves "by evil politicians to impose Barabas, a corrupt thief like themselves as president, through the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC," acting like "the Pontus Pilate."
Onah spoke in a video during a sermon now trending across the country.
According to Onah, Nigerians should not allow themselves to be led sheepishly by some selfish, bigoted, corrupt religious and political leaders who will ignore our wish and impose on us injustice and perpetration of corruption during the elections.
His words, "Jesus courageously and happily went into Jerusalem to embrace his mission and his destiny, because the hour had come. Now, the hour has come for all Christians and all persons of goodwill in Nigeria to stand up, walk into the society and the various aspects of governance and life in Nigeria to embrace our mission and our destiny for a better Nigeria.
"We should not allow ourselves to be led sheepishly by some selfish, bigoted, corrupt religious and political leaders who will ignore our wish and impose on us injustice and perpetration of corruption.
"While we are preparing for election, let us all rise, register to vote, come out to vote, protect our votes and chose our leaders.
"Since evil men are now busy meeting and are already planning to impose Barabas, a corrupt thief like themselves on us through the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC -Pontus Pilate, we must resist this. We want an honest, hardworking Nigerian, who has shown capacity for governance, irrespective of where he is coming from and support him to lead us. We Reject Barabas.
"We choose Jesus. We reject corrupt leaders. We choose honest men and women. This is the time.
"Whether they are caucuses or stakeholders, we know, they are corrupt evil men; most of them.
"If you say you are not one of them and you find yourself there, be the Joseph of Arimathea and speak out.
"Nigerians have suffered enough. We have suffered enough and the time for real change is now.
"Our destiny is in our hands and nobody can claim or pretend not to be concerned. God is still with us.
"He needs us to go into the city. He needs us to go into the streets. He needs us to transform our lives."
