Tinubu Snubs Gov Sanwo-Olu At Inauguration Of Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway

President Bola Tinubu snubbed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, of Lagos State, weekend during the inauguration ceremony of the phase one of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway.
The inauguration of the 30 kilometres by six lanes coastal highway, was attended by several dignitaries, including former Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, his Bayelsa State counterpart, Douye Diri as well as the governor of Cross River State, Bassey Otu among others.
Tinubu greeted the dignitaries and exchanged pleasantries by shaking hands with them, until he reached Sanwo-Olu and ignored him. He, however, greeted and extended a handshake directly to the governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Ododo, who was next in line.
There had been speculation that Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu are not on good terms following the impeachment of Mudashiru Obasa as Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly.
Obasa was removed from office by a majority of lawmakers in February over allegations of financial misconduct but was later reinstated after 49 days following Tinubu's intervention.
