EFCC Asked To Reopen Case, Prosecute Atiku Over Alleged Financial Crimes
Former member of the House of Representatives, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to reopen and prosecute a case of alleged financial crimes involving the former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar.
In a letter dated August 27 and received by the EFCC on September 1, the lawyer said the request was based on an EFCC investigation, just as the call was also based on a report on allegations involving Atiku when he was the vice-president between 1999 and 2007.
