Tinubu Appoints Muhammad Babangida, chairman, Bank of Agriculture
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of son of ex- military President Ibrahim Babangida, Muhammad, as the new chairman of the Bank of Agriculture, BoA.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of son of ex- military President Ibrahim Babangida, Muhammad, as the new chairman of the Bank of Agriculture, BoA.
Muhammad is among nine persons appointed into new leadership positions by President Tinubu on Friday.
Babangida, 53, brings a strong academic and executive background to his new role.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in public relations and business communication from the European University in Montreux, Switzerland. Furthermore, Babangida attended the Harvard Business School’s Executive Programme on Corporate Governance in 2002.

Sanusi Musa, SAN (Kano State)- chairman, Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution IPCR and Prof. Al-Mustapha Alhaji Aliyu (Sokoto State)- Director-General, Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa, DTCA.
Others include Sanusi Garba Rikiji (Zamfara State) - Director-General, Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations, NOTN, Mrs. Tomi Somefun (Oyo State) - Managing Director, National Hydro-Electric Power Areas Development Commission, HYPPADEC as well as Dr. Abdulmumini Mohammed Aminu-Zaria (Kaduna State) - Executive Director, Nigerian Integrated Water Resources Management Commission, NIWRMC.
Onanuga noted that the new appointments would bring fresh leadership and impetus to these critical government institutions under President Tinubu’s administration.
