The instructor whose name was from the Air Defence Wing, Nigerian Army School of Artillery, reportedly lost his life at the Gun Pack on May, 27, 2025, when he was accidentally hit with ZSU-23-m (Shilka) during training by one of his students,
Meanwhile, roops of Dikwa in the outskirts of Maiduguri were driving to their administrative headquarters in Maiduguri town when their vehicle stepped on IED, resulting in the death of two soldiers following the explosion.
