FG Arraigns ‘BOSYA President’ Kaigama For Terrorism
The Federal government, on Wednesday, arraigned President of the Borno State Youths Association, BOSYA, Samaila Ibrahim Kaigama, on terrorism charges.
The Federal government, on Wednesday, arraigned President of the Borno State Youths Association, BOSYA, Samaila Ibrahim Kaigama, on terrorism charges.
Kaigama who had earlier been arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS, was arraigned before Justice Salim Ibrahim of the Federal High Court, in Abuja.
The self-styled youth president had during an interview session last week on Channels Television, admitted that he had discussions with Boko Haram terrorists on alleged ransom payments for victims they kidnapped.
It was said that the security agents who were already trailing hím before the interview, are allegedly in possession of rock-solid evidence of extortion of victims’ families by Kaigama.
Meanwhile, Justice Ibrahim has adjourned the matter to September 25, 2026, for the commencement of trial, adding that Kaigama be detained in the custody of the DSS.
