This was announced by the state Chief Registrar of High Courts, David Ihua-Maduenyi, in a statement in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Ihua-Maduenyi recalled that the Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, had earlier declared the vacation, with effect from Monday, December 23, 2024.
According to the chief registrar, with the vacation period now over, all court activities will return to normal on Friday, January 10, as specified.
He, then asked members of the public to note the new court session and adjust accordingly.
