President Tinubu Commissions 1068 Badagry- Sokoto Super Highway Today In Sokoto
President Bola Tinubu, represented by Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, will flag off the construction of the 1068 km Badagry-Sokoto Super Highway today, October 24, 2024.
President Bola Tinubu will flag off the 1068 kilometres Badagry - Sokoto Super Highway in Sokoto State today by 4pm.
A statement from the Federal Ministry of Works noted that President Tinubu would, however, be represented on the occasion by the Sokoto State governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto.
The statement read in part, "The flag-off of the construction of the 1068 km Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway ... is scheduled to hold in Sokoto State today, October 24, 2024 .
"The Minister of Works, Sen Nweze David Umahi CON is being accompanied by the Chairman and members of the Senate Committee on Works as well as the Chairman and members of the Federal House of Representatives Committee on Works," as well as "the Minister of State, Works ,Barr. Muhammad Bello Goronyo and other dignitaries from the Federal Government."
