Obi Visits Plateau Attack Victims, Demands Decisive Action To Protect Lives
Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, and former governor of Anambra State, Peter Gregory Obi, Tuesday, visited Bin-Per community in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State to commiserate with residents following the recent attack that claimed more than 26 lives.

Obi, accompanied on the visit by members of his entourage team, was in the community to sympathise with families who lost loved ones and identify with residents still grappling with the impact of the devastating incident.
His words, “The most important responsibility of government is to protect the lives and property of its citizens. We must do everything possible to ensure that our people can live and work without fear.”

Some of the affected residents who spoke during the visit thanked Obi for identifying with them at a difficult moment and for coming to share in their griefs.
The residents also prayed for God’s continued blessings and protection for the NDC presidential candidate, even as they expressed hope that his visit would draw greater national attention to the security challenges confronting the community.
