Governor State, Siminalayi of Rivers State has congratulated the newly elected President-general of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Senator John Azuta-Mbata on his election on Friday, January 10.

has congratulated the newly elected President-general of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Senator John Azuta-Mbata on his election on Friday, January 10.
Fubara described Azuka-Mbata’s victory as the people’s show of confidence in his ability to deliver on their expectations for the Igbo socio-political group.
These were contained in a statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary,Nelson Chukwudi.
The governor further stated that members of the Ohanaeze Ndigbi through their votes has shown the trust they have in Azuka-Mbata.
He also, called for national cohesion through the group, even as he urged the Azuka-Mbata to ensure he stays alive to his responsibility as the new President-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
“On behalf of the government and the good people of Rivers State, I once again congratulate you and assure you of our readiness to work with you towards maintaining and preserving national unity and cohesion,” he added.
