Buhari ‘Monumental Disaster,’ Tinubu Taking Nigeria Back By 100 Years, Says PDP Chieftain

A top notcher of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Tony Okeke, has lampooned the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and his predecessor Muhammadu Buhari, saying that both leaders have taken the country over 100 years backwards.
Both Buhari and Tinubu are of the All Progressives Congress, APC, but Tinubu took over from Buhari, in May 2023.
However, Okeke, a former spokesman of the opposition PDP, spoke  on Friday during an interview on Channels Television's  Politics Today.
His words, "In law, we say you cannot build something on nothing. The last administration (of Buhari) took this country 50 years back. The present administration, I think, is trying to take us back by 100 years.
“The election of 2023 would have been the easiest election for the PDP to win because there were eight years of monumental disaster by the Buhari administration. People were fed up because the APC had nothing to offer.”
