3 Police Officers, One Suspect Die In Ondo Auto Crash
Four persons, including three police officers and a female suspect have died in a fatal road crash at Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area, Ondo State, Thursday.

The crash was reportedly caused by a trailer driver who lost control, due to over speeding, crossing the median, before ramming into the police van conveying the officers and the suspect.
Eyewitnesses said that four police officers, from the Monitoring Unit of the Ondo State Police Command had travelled from Akure to make an arrest in Ore, even as the
surviving officer, sustained serious injuries, and was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
The Ondo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Samuel Ibitoye, confirmed the accident adding that it was caused by overspeeding on the part of the trailer driver.
