President Tinubu Splits Onanuga Office Into Three New Offices

President Bola Tinubu has created positions for his two newly appointed  spokespersons in the State House

to “enhance efficiency within the government’s communication machinery.”
According to a statement by the Special Adviser,  Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanugu, “these appointments, along with the existing role of Special Adviser, Information and Strategy, underscore that there is no single individual spokesperson for the Presidency.”
Onanuga explained that the former  Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation, Sunday Dare, now becomes the Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications, while Mr Daniel Bwala, announced last week as Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications, now becomes the Special Adviser Policy Communications, adding that,  the three Special Advisers are now to collectively serve as spokespersons for the government.
The Presidency further noted  that these  restructurings would ensure effective and consistent communication of government policies, decisions and engagements to Nigerians.
