Over 20 People Feared Dead In Attack On Plateau Community
No fewer than 20 people, including women and children, were feared killed in the early hours of Tuesday, with others still missing, in an attack on Amper, BWI district of the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

This is the third attack recorded in Mangu in the past week even as one person was shot in the previous attack, according to residents of the area.
The Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, Alfred Alabo, confirmed the attack, saying the initial figure received by the command was 18 casualties.
Alabo, further noted however, said the figure i CCs believed to have risen to more than 20, as further details emerge from the affected community.
He added that the Commissioner of Police in Plateau, Faniyan Ayodeji, and his team are currently on their way to the scene to assess the situation.
The latest attack has heightened concerns among residents, who are calling on the government to strengthen security and protect communities from further attacks.
