Nigerians Should Remember Victims Of Late President Buhari's Tyranny , Not Mourn Him ----- Onoyele Sowore

SaharaReporters online Newspaper Publisher, Omoyele Sowore, has criticised the national mourning of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing the development as "Shameful."

Sowore said it was wrong to mourn tyrants like Buhari, that killed many Nigerians instead of remembering victims of his tyranny.

Sowore was reacting to the avalanche of tributes being paid to Buhari by leaders across the country, noting that the former president committed crimes against humanity by killing thousands of innocent Nigerians.

His words, "He (Buhari) ordered soldiers of the HQ (headquarters):Nigerian Army to open fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters waving the Nigerian flag. He "disappeared" Dadiyata.

"He ordered the massacre of young Southeasterners he branded IPOB.

"He disobeyed court orders, jailed critics arbitrarily, destroyed the economy, and ruined everything he touched.

"And now, because he’s dead, some people with selective memory want us to mourn or worship him? Shameful.

"NO, we do not mourn tyrants. We remember their victims."
