Enugu State Government says it is ready to host a successful and memorable Annual General Conference, AGC, of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, holding in August this year.
State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kingsley Udeh, who spoke reiterated the state’s reputation for hosting major national events and asked members of the committee on the AGC to work diligently to set a new benchmark for future conferences.
Udeh, noted that the state governor, Peter Mbah, was enthusiastic about welcoming legal practitioners and judicial officers from across the country finto Enugu, the state capital, for the conference and urged the committee to introduce innovative ideas that would make the 2025 AGC memorable, even as he recalled the state’s contribution to the NBA AGC format, introducing the breakout session format in 2003.
He further said that Governor Mbah would personally supervise the planning processes to ensure a hitch-free event.
Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Legal Matters, Osinachi Nnajieze, has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the conference’s success, noting the need for collaboration and dedication among committee members.
