About 135 Cardinals around the world are eligible to vote with only Peter Okpalaeke, being the only Nigerian cardinal among them.
The historic election will take place within the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, which will be closed to visitors throughout the duration of the conclave to ensure the solemnity and secrecy of the proceedings.
