However, although details of the resignation were sketchy at the time of this report, allegations of financial impropriety were linked to his resignation, with some party members reportedly protesting “excessive financial demands” imposed by his office.
Specific cases were said to have come from the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Area Council candidates who had complained about being compelled to pay humongous amounts of money as requirements for receiving the party’s ticket for next FCT Council elections.
