Kano High Court Restrains Ganduje from Parading Himself as APC National Chairman


A Kano State High Court has granted an exparte order restraining the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from parading himself as member of the party.

The court subsequently, ordered Ganduje, to henceforth, stop parading himself as national chairman of the party or presiding over all affairs of the National Working Committee, NWC, of APC.
The application granted by Justice Usman Malam Na’abba on Tuesday followed an exparte motion filed by Dr. Ibrahim Sa’ad Esq on behalf of two executive members APC Ganduje ward in Dawakin-Tofa Local Government Area of the state.

The plaintiffs included the assistant secretary, Laminu Sani and legal adviser Haladu Gwanjo who were part of the nine ward executive committee members who suspended Abdullahi Ganduje, earlier on Monday.
