Suspected Herdsmen Attack Enugu Community, Kill Four


At least four people were reportedly killed on Sunday night while many others were seriously injured when suspected Fulani herdsmen again invaded Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Residents of the community, said that the herdsmen attacked mourners at Ugwuijoro Nimbo community, killing four people instantly, even as many others were still missing.

Other sources however, told reporters that  seven people were inflicted with serious machete cuts.
Meanwhile, the residents four corpses have already been recovered, even as the  community has formed search parties for the so many people currently missing.
Confirming the incident, the Enugu State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, said he could not immediately provide details.
“Please I am putting something together on the attack. You will get it soonest,” Ndukwe, told reporters.
