Duro Onabule, Former presidential spokesman to Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, Chief Duro Onabule, is dead
 Onabule, a veteran journalist, died on Tuesday at 83.
He died as his former principal, Gen Babangida is celebrating his 81st birthday in his country home in Minna, Niger State.
A close associate to Onabule’s family Eric Teniola disclosed his death.
“Chief Duro Dnabule died this on Tuesday  evening,” another family source told reporters, even as the cause of his death was not disclosed as at the time of filing this report. He  was said he was seen hale and hearty few days earlier. 
Onabule was the National Editor of National Concord from 1984 to 1985 and later became Chief Press Secretary to Babangida.
