Imufu Community in Enugu State is agog, as their Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Father, Johnson C. Nwanonenyi, C.S.Sp celebrates his 35th birthday on Thursday, April 15, 2021. 

A high mass will preceed the activities marking his birthday at At. Joseph's Catholic Church, Imufu, Enugu Ezike, in Igbo Eze North LGA, Enugu State.

Nwanonenyi, was born to the family of Ichie Christopher and late Mrs Justina Anuribundu Nwanonenyi on April 15,1986 at Umuadobihe, Eziani in Ihiala Local Government Area of State.

 He attended the Eziani Primary School, Ihiala (1991 – 1993); Umunnamehi 

 Community Primary School (1993 – 1997); Abbot Boys Secondary School, Ihiala (1997 – 2000); Holy Ghost Juniorate Ihiala (2000 – 2006); Spiritan Postulancy, Akabo, Imo State (2007-2008); Holy Ghost Novitiate, Awo-omamma, Imo State (2008 – 2009); Spiritan School of Philosophy, Isienu-Nsukka (2009 -2013); Holy Ghost Academy Amaokpala, Orumba North LGA, Anambra State (2013-2014); Spiritan International School of Theology, Attakwu, Enugu State from 2014 to 2018.

Nwaonenyi was ordained Deacon on August 5, 2017 and finally ordained a Catholic Priest on August 4, 2018
