A Divisional Police Officer, DPO, serving in Emene area of Enugu metropolis, of the Enugu Police Command has slumped and died.
The DPO (names withheld) died while on active duty at the state capital.
The DPO who was recently was alleged to have slumped at the police station and rushed to the Annunciation Hospital Emene where he was reportedly confirmed dead.
Efforts to get the Enugu Police Command to confirm the report failed as the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Daniel Ndukwe could not be reached at the time of this report.
