Kwara State Technical Committee on COVID-19 has confirmed two seperate cases of COVID-19 in the state, saying that one was the wife of a University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH, patient and UK returnee, who died Thursday while the other was also another UK returnee. 

This was contained in a statement, issued a few minutes after the government received official confirmation of test results from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Test Centre in Ibadan, Oyo State.

According to the statement, the government would address a news conference Tuesday at 11am in the morning to give details and further measures being taken to tackle the Covid- 19 pandemic.
