The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced plans to register 1.5 million candidates before the  March 26,  deadline for registration of candidates.

JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, who spoke said the board has so far, registered over 500,000 candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UMTE.
He spoke  in Abuja on Thursday after monitoring the exercise in Bwari and Dutse on the outskirts of the nation’s capital.
Professor Oloyede says the board also planned to register at least 50,000 candidates per day.
Earlier in a statement, JAMB had announced that the “UTME/DE registration would start on February 12, 2022 and end on March 19,  2022. Mock examination holds on 20th April 2022, while the UTME holds from April 20 to 30,  2022.”
