... As Progressive Govs Vow To remove National Chairman

ABUJA --------- In spite of the respite given to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, following the reprieve from the courts for Adams Oshiomhole to preside over last Wednesday's meeting of the National Working Committee, NWC, the last is still to be heard from the governors opposed to his leadership style. 

Forces against Oshiomhole hinted that Oshiomhole they were not happy with his poor leadership style and were bent on replacing him before the next national convention of the party. 

Some stakeholders in the party said that the governors held a meeting Wednesday night, before the general meeting of the Nigerian Governors Forum, NGF, and vowed to resume their plan to remove Oshiomhole from office.

It was learnt that the mastermind of the current move to remove Oshiomhole included two serving northern governors and three other former governors who had previously had problems with the Chairman.

Sources close to a serving northern governor revealed that the Progressives Governors Forum, PGF, said that those present at the meeting resolved that Oshiomhole's continued stay in office was dangerous because, "going by his antecedents," adding that, "Keeping Oshiomhole is like keeping a rattlesnake under the bed with the belief that it has been tamed.
