A  72  - year old man,  John Idoko, has been reportedly killed by ritualists, who slashed his manhood and removed other vital organs of the deceased.

Idoko, who hailed from Aji, Enugu Ezike, Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, was  allegedly dragged out of his house by the yet to identified assailants to a lonely junction in the village where he was killed.

He was alleged to be alone in the house, where he was staying, as his other grown up members of the family from two marriages  were living in another compound, when the ritualists struck.

Idoko's body was at decomposition stage when it was discovered, before the police in Enugu Ezike were invited to the scene.

Relations of the deceased confirmed the story, saying that the police had stepped into the matter.
